This year the GAA Club  celebrates the 25th Anniversary of the Annual Golf Classic. Our Classic has gone from strength to strength over the past 25 years with many great days of golf being enjoyed by all who participated and supported the event. The Classic succeeded in raising significant funds to aid the development and construction of many development projects within our GAA club and community. Over the 25 years the Classic has achieved a total profit in excess  €750,000, which has been used exclusively for Club development projects which are now being enjoyed by all members of our club and community. Numerous people have contributed to this remarkable success, far too many to mention, but we do want to the thank the Golf Classic Committee, New Ross Golf Club, our many sponsors including our main sponsor for many years, Hyundai Ireland. We also thank the many people who participate every year and a special word of thanks to our patron  Michael O Muircheartaigh who always delighted us with his many stories over the years.

To mark the 25th anniversary, we welcome two very special GAA guests for the presentation part of the classic, Derry Footballer and Sports Journalist Joe Brolly, and 9 time Hurling All Star Tommy Walsh who will both share their stories with us on the night.  We invite all Club members, players and supporters to come along to New Ross Golf Club on Thursday May 9th at 9pm to meet Joe and Tommy to celebreate the 25th Anniversary of the Annual Golf Classic.
