Our U15 Féile team did the Club proud in Gowran this morning in the Paddy Grace Division 2 Semi-Final. After a sluggish start, the lads battled back and the sides couldn't be separated at full time, 1-6 (RI) to 0-9.
Dunnamaggin struck two quick goals in extra time and it appeared the game was slipping away from us. Our lads showed great heart, courage and skill to wrestle the initiative back.
At the end of extra time the sides still couldn't be separated, 3-8 (RI) to 2-11, so we needed 45 yard frees to settle the outcome. Dunnamaggin prevailed in the free taking shoot out but it doesn't diminish in the slighest our boys performance.
