Kilkenny County Board is delighted to announce that we have two €1,000 grants to attend the Ring Gaeltacht this summer.
Who? Open to boys and girls aged between 11 and 17 who are registered with their local GAA club
What? €1000 scholarship to attend Ring Gaeltacht Summer course for two weeks x2
When? Course D runs from July 20th to August 3rd 2025
Where? Ring Gaeltacht, County Waterford
How to enter? Write or voice record a short match report about a GAA game you have seen. The report must be at least 50 words and must contain at least 10 words of Irish. Send your entry by email to irishculturalofficer.kilkenny@gaa.ieby midnight Tuesday 15th July. Winners will be chosen at random from successful applicants on Wednesday 16th July.
One boy and one girl will win a €1000 scholarship towards the cost of this two week Gaeltacht course. As the entire cost is €1200, the remaining €200 per person is due to be paid ahead of attending the course. The two winners will stay in dormitories on campus in Ring.
