On Saturday we hosted our second Will Ring Memorial Tournament. Close to 200 players from clubs across Kilkenny, Carlow, Wexford, and Waterford enjoyed a great morning of hurling. The players were treated to a piper parading them around the field, followed by the national anthem being played. Despite the large number of children, parents, and volunteers, a minute's silence was impeccably observed by all.
The Club expresses our sincere thanks to Mount Leinster Rangers, Tullogher Rosbercon, Danesfort, Slieverue, Rathnure, Graignamanagh, Ballyhale Shamrocks, Mount Sion, Mooncoin, Mullinavat and our own boys for taking part. We'd also like to thank parents for their help on the day with food, and parking, and those who volunteered to referee games. Finally, our U10 team management deserve great praise for the huge effort they put into organising the tournament.
