The Rower–Inistioge GAA and Camogie clubs hosted their first ever event in the style of Scór na bPáistí at Cois Abhann, Inistioge, on Sunday, March 15.
A large crowd turned out to support local children aged between 7 and 12 as they performed music, song and dance celebrating Irish culture and language. Traditional instruments including harps, concertinas, banjos, tin whistles and fiddles were all featured on the day.
The standard of performance was excellent and the audience was highly impressed by the talent of the young participants. The event proved to be a wonderful celebration of local culture and youth talent.
