Hi Everyone
➡️ The Rower-Inistioge will begin developing a blueprint for our youth player pathway this year, covering all age groups from Under-6 to Under-18.
➡️ This process will commence next week, with our coaches playing a key role in planning and providing valuable input on the pathway.
➡️ Michael Fennelly (Former Performance lead for Kilkenny) will facilitate and lead on the player pathway and support through his expertise in youth development.
➡️ A series of workshops will be conducted to create the pathway whilst also supporting coaches on coach education opportunities and access to online resources.
➡️ The pathway will provide a clear framework that will guide how we develop players within the club going forward.
➡️ It will also form the foundation of our long-term player development within The Rower-Inistioge. It will be reviewed and evolve each year to ensure it continues to meet the needs of our players and reflects the ongoing development of the club.
This is an exciting new initiative being undertaken by the club at Juvenile level and it’s through our fundraisers of both the scrap metal collection and this weekend’s Hurlathon that we can fund these types of coaching structures.
If you can support our Hurlathon this weekend via the go fund me page we would very much appreciate it. It is ensuring that our young players have the best possible opportunity to succeed at being the best possible players they can be.

Thanks again.
