Rower Inistioge GAA Club and Camogie Club would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who supported our recent 12-hour Hurlathon. It was fantastic to see such enthusiasm and participation across all juvenile age groups, from U6 right up to U18, with both clubs fully involved throughout the event.
The funds raised from this initiative will be ringfenced to support our Games Promotion Officer, who provides 6 hours coaching per week dedicated to the national schools and 2 hours of club support (1 hour each for Hurling and Camogie). Any surplus funds will be reinvested directly into our juvenile teams to further enhance their development and playing experience.
We would also like to thank everyone who contributed to and supported the Rower Inistioge GAA Bord na nÓg scrap metal collection. All funds raised from this fundraiser will be 100% reinvested in our juvenile players.
The club is currently working with Michael Fennelly on the development of a comprehensive player pathway programme for ages U6 to U18. This programme includes workshops and educational sessions focusing on tactical awareness, the importance of interpersonal skills, and effective feedback strategies for coaches. For players, the programme covers areas such as tactical understanding, nutrition, sports psychology, and leadership development.
Finally, we wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who supported these fundraisers financially, as well as to everyone who gave their time and effort in organising and running these events. Your continued support plays a vital role in the growth and success of our club.
Thank you all.
