After an incredible campaign, our Intermediate Hurlers have reached the Kilkenny Intermediate Hurling Championship County Final — an achievement that has brought enormous pride to everyone associated with Rower Inistioge GAA.
This is the first time since 2013 that our Intermediate team has reached the County Final. That 2013 campaign went on to become a very special chapter in the history of our club, and we are now incredibly proud to have the opportunity to write another chapter in 2026.
The players, management and backroom team have put in an extraordinary amount of work throughout the year, training since January and representing the parish with great commitment and pride.
However, reaching a County Final also brings significant additional costs for the club — including match preparation, team expenses, facilities, equipment and the many other costs associated with supporting a team at this level.
We are therefore asking our members, supporters, former players, friends of the club and the wider Rower-Inistioge community to consider making a contribution towards these costs.
There is absolutely no obligation to contribute. We fully appreciate that the cost of living is putting increased pressure on households and families, and we understand that not everyone is in a position to make a donation. Any contribution, no matter how large or small, is entirely voluntary and will be greatly appreciated.
For those who are in a position to help, your contribution will go directly towards helping Rower Inistioge GAA meet the additional costs associated with this very special County Final campaign. You can donate by clicking on the following link: https://gofund.me/8b1b54b39
Most importantly, we want everyone to come together and enjoy the occasion.
From all at Rower Inistioge GAA, thank you for your continued support.
