The Dillon Quirke Foundation was set up in honour of the late Dillon Quirke who collapsed and died of S.A.D.S. on August 5th last in Semple Stadium, Thurles.

His family, Dan, Hazel, Shannon and Kellie have launched The Dillon Quirke Foundation in an effort to raise awareness and save lives by screening every G.A.A. player both male and female from the age of 12 upwards. By doing so, they hope to prevent other families from going through the heartache of losing a precious family member.

They invited all clubs in Tipperary and Kilkenny to organise a Long Puck Competition in their club with all proceeds going to the Foundation.

Congratulations to Paddy Lyng who won the Rower Inistioge Long Puck competition this morning and will now go on to represent the club in the Clonoulty Rossmore G.A.A. Grounds on either 11th or 18th of February 2023.
