REGULATIONS FOR ROWER INISTIOGE GAA EUROMILLIONS SYNDICATE
1) The Syndicate will enter each Euromillions draw, starting on Tuesday October 31st, 2023, with the final draw on Friday February 9th 2024.
2) Purchase of a €30 ticket entitles you to one share in the syndicate. Members can purchase more than one ticket. The GAA Club will purchase one ticket in the Syndicate.
3) The proceeds of funds raised will be used to fund facilities development in the club, including new railing at grounds in Inistioge and upgrade of Car Park in the Rower.
4) You must be 18 years of age or over to become a member of the syndicate.
5) The Syndicate entry will be a 6-line ticket to the main Euromillions draw and Euromillions
Plus draw for a period of 15 consecutive weeks.
6) Numbers will be drawn via a Quick Pick option and shared with all Members.
7) All entries must be returned to the committee by 6pm (GMT) Tuesday October 31st, 2023.
8) The Club has set a target of having 400 members in the syndicate, In the event of not reaching the 400 member threshold- tickets purchased in the weekly draws will be reduced accordingly.
9) The organising committee reserves the right to increase the syndicate size in lots of 50(only) should the demand for entry to the syndicate exceed the organising committee’s expectations. In this event for every additional 50 members, 5 additional tickets will be purchased for each of the 30 Draws.
10) The first €500 of all winnings will be donated to Charity, St. Vincent De Paul has been selected as our Charity recipient for the second Euromillions syndicate. Future syndicates may select a different charity.
11) If, the syndicates winnings do not reach the charity pay-out threshold above, the club will donate the balance from tickets sales to ensure a €500 pay-out is available to the Charity selected for that syndicate.
12) In the event of total winnings above the charity pay-out of €500, the winnings will be processed as outlined below.
A. €500 – €2,000 it will be raffled amongst all syndicate members with 5 winners
receiving an equal amount.
B. €2,000 – €10,000 but equates to less than €40 per syndicate members, it will be
raffled amongst all syndicate members with 20 winners receiving an equal amount.
C. Any amount greater than €10,000 will be equally divided amongst all syndicate members.
D. Numbers and any winnings will be communicated to members via club webpage/social media/Newsletter etc.
E. Winnings of over €1,000 per syndicate member in any single draw will be paid within a month, otherwise winnings will be paid after the final draw.
13) The Rower Inistioge GAA Euromillions syndicate committee decision on all matters is final.
